Occupational Therapy
- Initial visit within 5 days of referral by a physician to determine the immediate care and support needs of you or your loved one.
- Comprehensive initial assessment, reassessment, and evaluation of your level of functioning using diagnostic and prognostic procedures.
- Guidance in the use of therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve function.
- Instructions on necessary adaptations for daily living activities.
- Design and instruction in the use of adaptive devices.
Physical Therapy
American Home Care, licensed to provide services throughout New Jersey, offers qualified and licensed Physical Therapy services. These services include, but are not limited to:
- Initial visit within 5 days of referral by a physician to determine the immediate care and support needs of you or your loved one.
- Comprehensive initial and ongoing assessment to determine the level of functioning.
- Evaluation through muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability testing.
- Treatment to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance through teaching, exercise, massage, and applicable treatments and modalities.
- Direction and assistance in active and passive exercise, muscle reeducation, and functional training, including activities of daily living, transfer activities, and prosthetic training.
Speech Therapy
American Home Care, licensed to provide services throughout New Jersey, offers qualified and licensed Speech Therapy services. These services include, but are not limited to:
- Initial visit within 5 days of referral by a physician to determine the immediate care and support needs of you or your loved one.
- Comprehensive initial and ongoing assessment to determine the level of functioning.
- Assessment, reassessment, evaluation, testing, and rehabilitation services for individuals with speech, hearing, or language disorders.
